Jobstreet Launches Top Talents Programme At MCTF

At the annual Malaysia Career & Training Fair, Jobstreet by SEEK, Malaysia’s premier employment platform, introduced its Top Talents Programme, dubbed ‘Digital Expert and Leadership Accelerator’ (DELA), designed to cultivate Malaysian youths into future digital experts and leaders.

In collaboration with Otti, the Ministry of Human Resources, and TalentCorp, this fully-sponsored programme offers a 6-week accelerator and 6-month industry immersion for graduates in Software Engineering, Data Science, or other tech-related fields.

Participants receive technical knowledge, soft skills, and support for 6 working months upon securing a role within a Malaysian company.

DELA encompasses modules on digital business acumen, project management strategies, effective development strategies, emotional agility, and communication skills, equipping talent with industry knowledge and in-demand skills for real-life work scenarios.

Jobstreet by SEEK, Malaysia, Managing Director, Vic Sithasanan expressed excitement about partnering with Otti and TalentCorp, supported by the Ministry of Human Resources, to nurture resilient, digitally-forward Malaysian youths. He encouraged jobseekers to leverage available resources like Jobstreet by SEEK’s Career Hub, offering skill-enhancing certifications.

The initiative reflects Jobstreet by SEEK’s commitment to connect jobseekers and organizations for productive working lives, showcased at the Malaysia Career and Training Fair (MCTF) organised jointly with AIC Exhibitions. Datuk William Ng, Organising Chairman of MCTF, AIC Exhibitions, hailed the fair’s 23rd year and its first-ever SDG-themed edition, emphasizing sustainability and prosperity. MCTF attracted over 26,000 jobseekers and 110 exhibitors nationwide.

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Malaysia, Adam Adli emphasised the government’s dedication to empowering youth through initiatives like MCTF and TVET programmes, underscoring their pivotal role in driving the nation towards digital leadership and economic advancement.
