Microsoft has announced the new date for Satya Nadella’s highly anticipated trip to Malaysia. The CEO and Chairman of Microsoft was originally set to visit the country in March but the trip was postponed. Now, Satya’s official visit to Malaysia is scheduled for May as part of the regional Microsoft Build: AI Day tour.
The highlight of Satya’s visit will be his opening keynote address at Microsoft Build: AI Day Kuala Lumpur on May 2. This marks his first official visit to Malaysia since assuming the CEO role from Steve Ballmer a decade ago.
The keynote will focus on the new era of AI and the opportunities it presents for organisations in the region to shape their future.
Microsoft Build: AI Day Kuala Lumpur, targeting developers, data scientists, and technologists, will provide attendees with insights into the latest innovations and opportunities within the AI space.
The event, now set to take place at Nexus, Connxion Conference & Event Centre in Bangsar South, will feature panel discussions, tech demos, and hackathons.
Attendees can expect technologies such as Azure OpenAI Services and Copilot to be highlighted during the sessions. Additionally, the event will include a Connection Hub where participants can interact with experts, industry leaders, and fellow developers for collaboration opportunities and technical guidance.
