Malaysian Airlines has issued an advisory notice informing passenger to arrive at least 4 hours ahead of departure time at KLIA International Airport during the festive peak period.
The national carrier which expects surge in travel for both domestic and international flights between 4 April till 16 April in order to allow for sufficient time for check-in procedures and the necessary document checks at various touchpoints.
MAS also advised travellers to perform web or mobile check-in from 48 hours and to 90 minutes before flight, they can also use the self service kiosks at KLIA to print luggage tags and boarding pass.
With ticket prices normalising, air travel is set to soar especially during long holiday breaks, Malaysian Airports Holdings Berhad the operator of KLIA has been already seeing record passenger travels and is expected to another record month in April post aidilfitri holiday.
