Anticipated Surge In Traffic As Toll-Free Highways Commence Today

Following the toll-free highways, drivers should be careful and expect delays on main roads. More traffic is expected due to the Hari Raya holiday, as people travel back to their hometowns.

Earlier this morning, highway authority, @llmtrafik updated on X, saying for the PLUS highway at Exit 2 (E2) towards the city center (Pusat Bandaraya) highlighted slow-moving traffic from Sungai Besi Toll Plaza.

Subsequently, commuters heading towards KL-Karak Expressway (E8) were alerted to slow traffic conditions spanning approximately 1.2 kilometers from Km 35.9 to Km 37.1 in the westbound direction near Genting Sempah. The congestion is attributed to a surge in the volume of vehicles.
