Onetech Shareholder Calls For EGM To Remove CEO, COO

Onetech Solutions Berhad shareholder Lau King Yew who owns 45% of the issued share capital in the company has sent a letter to the board requesting for an Extraordinary General Meeting for the removal of its directors.

The EGM has been called for the removal of director Koh Kean Mun, Tan Yuh Pei and also remove them from the position as COO and CEO respectively.

Lau cited the EGM for removal was in effect to the company making a historic loss of RM1.3 million in FY23 which the shareholder said was unacceptable and accused the management for poor handling of the business.

The board has said it is seeking legal advice on the matter.
