The government though the Ministry of Finance will continue to subsidise the price of petrol and diesel in the country for the month of April as the removal gets closer.
As for the second week of April from 11-17, RON97 price will remain at RM3.47 per litre, while RON97 will be kept at RM2.05 per litre. Diesel on the other hand will be left untouched at RM2.15 per litre.
The Malaysian government reiterates that the price is being kept even though the ceiling price of both petrol and diesel have surpassed the pricing.
