Chinese Stocks Inch Up At Midday

China’s major stock indices were higher in the morning session Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.21 percent to 3,055.99 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went up 1.65 percent to 9,380.48 points at midday.
