The Ministry of Digital has issued a reminder to all its agencies and departments to maintain focus and enhance cooperation in driving the nation’s digital transformation initiatives smoothly.
Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo highlighted the importance of continued commitment and effective collaboration among all stakeholders during his address at the Ministry of Digital’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration today. He emphasised the need for collective efforts to achieve the ministry’s objectives, acknowledging the progress made in implementing various plans within the first five months of his leadership.
“We have witnessed strong cooperation in realising our goals within the ministry. Thus far, I am pleased with the level of commitment displayed by the team,” Gobind said.
He urged everyone to unite and contribute towards the successful execution of every initiative outlined by the ministry, underscoring the significance of teamwork in driving digital transformation.
Last December, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasised the pivotal role of the Ministry of Digital in spearheading efforts to ensure Malaysia remains competitive in the digital landscape, stressing the importance of not falling behind in the rapidly evolving digital sphere.
Key agencies and departments under the Ministry of Digital include the National Digital Department, MYNIC Berhad (MYNIC), the Department of Personal Data Protection, and CyberSecurity Malaysia, all of which play crucial roles in advancing the nation’s digital agenda.
The ministry’s celebration served as a platform to reaffirm commitment, foster collaboration, and express appreciation for the collective efforts aimed at driving Malaysia’s digital future forward.
