Turiya Berhad has informed the Exchange that its non executive Chairman Dato Halim Muhamat has passed away at 77.
Dato Halim was appointed to the board in 2019, he is a member of the audit committee and was appointed as Chairman in 2020. He has a long and distinguished career in the banking industry having served as the Executive Director and COO at Bank Bumiputera Malaysia and also was at CIMB Niaga Indonesia as its President Commissioner.
He was also the Director at Chase Perdana and AMC Medical Centre.
