Duopharma Accepts Supply Deal From Pharmaniaga Worth RM578 Million

Duopharma Biotech Berhad announced that its wholly owned subsidiaries have received and accepted 11 Letters of Offer
from Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn. Bhd. for the supply of pharmaceutical and/or non-pharmaceutical products to the offices and facilities operated and controlled by the Government of Malaysia through the Customer (MOH)

Under the terms, the total number of Products in aggregate to be supplied under all the contract(s) is 86 and the total estimated value in aggregate of all the aforementioned is approximately RM578,093,475.72 for the duration of the Contracts.

The contract stipulates price of the products will solely determined by the Government of Malaysia and are set out in the respective Supply Agreement which are fixed and includes all taxes, assessments, duties, charges, levies and payment imposed in connection with the supply and delivery. The customer will also where applicable, pay the sales tax and/or service tax to the respective supplier in addition to the price of the products.

Duopharma said the contract are in the ordinary course of business and will enable the suppliers to supply the “Products” to the Public Sector customers, through the customer (MOH). The contract(s) are expected to contribute positively to the Company’s future earnings until the Expiry Date of the Contract(s).
