Malaysia Ranks 25th Globally In Billionaire Count For 2024

Malaysia may not be a wealthy country or have a large economy, but it actually has many billionaires leading the country’s economy in various fields.

This wealth encompasses various assets including real estate, cash, business ownership, and personal assets. Surprisingly, Malaysia managed to rank 25th in the world for the highest number of billionaires by country in 2024.

According to sources, Malaysia ranks 25th with a total of 18 individuals holding the billionaire title, followed by the Philippines with 16 billionaires, ranking 26th on the chart.

Meanwhile, neighboring country Singapore is ahead at 17th place with 39 billionaires, followed by Indonesia at 20th place with 35 billionaires.

In this list, China leads all countries in Asia by obtaining the 2nd position, with 406 billionaires whose total wealth reaches $1.3 trillion.

The United States leads the world in the highest number of billionaires with 813 individuals collectively holding $5.7 trillion, setting a new record.
