Ringgit Opens Marginally Higher On Tuesday Amidst Softening Greenback

The Malaysian ringgit began slightly stronger on Tuesday, buoyed by moderate demand for the local currency and the softer performance of the US dollar amid decreased US Treasury yields, according to analysts.

As of 9 am, the ringgit climbed to 4.7360/7405 against the greenback, compared to Monday’s closing rate of 4.7380/7405.
