Tourism Board Seeks Emirates To Promote Malaysia In Middle East

Emirates and Tourism Malaysia inked an MOU for the airline to use its global network in promoting Malaysian in the gulf and middle east.

Through the strategic agreement, both parties will explore joint advertising and tactical campaigns to bolster Malaysia’s tourism sector and enhance international travel accessibility to one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia. Where viable, Emirates will also look at familiarisation trips from key markets in the Gulf and the Middle East to Malaysia, helping to increase awareness about the destination and create more international demand.

Emirates representative Orhan Abbas said :We’re excited to collaborate with Tourism Malaysia to help drive more traffic growth into the market by leveraging our extensive global network to generate more opportunities for travellers to explore Malaysia’s rich attractions, unique landmarks, and cultural heritage.”

Emirates has been flying to Malaysia since 1996, and currently operates 21 weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur using a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft, serving passengers with its world-class products and services.
