The concessionaires who were awarded the KL Tower management contract has assured a new vision for the iconic landmark that has stood tall since its inception.
LSH BEST Builders Sdn Bhd and Service Master Sdn Bhd Joint Venture had been appointed by Public Private Partnership Unit, to undertake the operation and maintenance management of Kuala Lumpur Tower.
LSH BEST Builders is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lim Seong Hai Capital Berhad which is principally engaged in the business
of construction and construction-related services & solutions and property development. The Board of Directors of the Group together with its key management have vast experience in the field of construction and property development and was previously involved in many nation building projects including the DUKE highway and the River of Life project. Service Master (M) Sdn Bhd is a wholly-owned bumiputera company established in 1989 and is one of the pioneers specialising in providing integrated facilities management services.
The JV a 70- 30% split brings the combined strength and expertise of LSHBB and SMMSB to unlock value-enhancing synergies with increased efficiency, improved innovation and ability to provide enhanced solutions resulting in a stronger and more effective entity that will spearhead the revitalisation of KL Tower into the No 1 iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur.

KL Tower, which was commissioned in 1996, is a six (6) storey and 421 meter tall telecommunication tower located at Jalan Bukit Nanas, Kuala Lumpur that was built to improve the quality of telecommunication and broadcasting transmission in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. KL Tower is currently the 7th tallest tower in the world.
