Fiamma Holdings Berhad (Fiamma) and Zhuhai Samyou Environmental Technology Co., Ltd (Samyou), signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) to establish an air conditioning (AC) production facility in Malaysia, marking Samyou’s first plant outside China.
With strategic investment from Xiaomi, Samyou distinguished itself as one of the key players in China’s HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) industry.
In 2023, the Malaysian AC market was valued at USD 758.25 million (RM3.3 billion) and is projected to grow by approximately
6.73% annually until 2029.
