Fintech Summit 2024 To Explore AI And Blockchain

The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) to highlight challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain in its annual flagship SCxSC FinTech Summit on 1-2 October 2024.

This year’s summit will explore visionary ideas related to AI and Blockchain, highlighting cases to bring forth purpose-driven innovation within the market and to foster potential partnerships that can drive the Malaysian capital market forward.

There will be innovation showcase sessions by AI and Blockchain solutions providers, such as Calastone, Sumsub and Cokeeps to demonstrate use cases of these innovative measures in the financial industry.

Participants of the event include local and regional industry leaders, technologists, policymakers, investors, and fintech communities.

The SC’s Islamic Capital Market accelerator programme, FIKRA ACE’s final demo will also be featured during the summit. Additionally, the summit’s community partners, Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM) and Artem Ventures, will host specialised sessions to enable more networking opportunities for the ecosystem.

The SCxSC is part of the SC’s broader agenda to harness innovation in technology to achieve the objectives of the Capital Market Masterplan 3 (CMP3) that serve to encourage competitive economic growth, empower investors and shape a stakeholder economy which is inclusive and sustainable.
