To empower businesses to meet sustainability goals and contribute meaningfully to national and global environmental objectives, SIRIM Bhd has launched the SIRIM ESG Holistic Ecosystem, a forward-thinking initiative designed to support and accelerate the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices among Malaysian industries.
SIRIM Chairman Datuk Ir Dr Khairol Anuar Mohamad Tawi said the ESG Holistic Ecosystem would provide Malaysian companies with a comprehensive suite of ESG support services through SIRIM’s subsidiaries and business units: SIRIM QAS International, SIRIM Academy and SIRIM IR.

The launch of the holistic ecosystem for ESG in Malaysia was organised in conjunction with Majlis SIRIM Industri 2024. The event was graced by the Investment, Trade and Industry (Investment & Management) Deputy Secretary General Datuk Bahria Mohd Tamil.
Bahria said as global expectations for sustainable practices continue to grow, this initiative embodies the government’s commitment to supporting Malaysian industries as they integrate ESG principles into their operations.
“ESG is no longer an option but a necessity for businesses to remain relevant in today’s evolving landscape.
“Thus, I urge the industries to leverage on SIRIM expertise to realise their ESG aspirations” she said.
