The Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2025 is set to play a key role in advancing regional economic collaboration as Malaysia assumes the ASEAN Chairmanship next year. The event will be part of the official ASEAN Summit programming and will take place from Oct 8 to Oct 11 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
The flagship trade and investment summit is expected to attract 50,000 visitors and feature over 700 booths, reinforcing its status as Southeast Asia’s leading business and trade summit.
Among the key highlights of SIBS 2025 are:
- Selangor International F&B Expo (SIE F&B): A premier platform featuring 215 booths, showcasing industry trends and innovations. The 2024 edition generated RM300.4 million in potential transactions.
- Selangor Investment & Industrial Park Expo (SPARK): A strategic platform for investment opportunities in ASEAN’s industrial parks, with over 239 booths. SPARK 2024 recorded RM12.2 billion in potential transactions, surpassing its RM7 billion target.
- Selangor ASEAN Business Conference (SABC): A high-level conference for policymakers, investors, and business leaders, offering insights into regional trade policies and economic trends.
- Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC): Organised by SIDEC, focusing on start-ups, AI, semiconductor innovation, and digital transformation with around 150 booths.
- Selangor International Care Summit (New in 2025): A new feature aimed at strengthening Selangor’s position in the care economy, featuring 80 booths and expert discussions.
- Selangor Aerospace Summit (New in 2025): A rebranded event focusing on MRO, aerospace manufacturing, drones, and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
“As a key part of the ASEAN Summit, SIBS 2025 underscores Selangor’s status as the Gateway to ASEAN, boosting business engagement, investment opportunities, and regional trade collaborations. We invite global investors and industry leaders to capitalise on the opportunities offered by this summit,” said Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade and Mobility, Ng Sze Han.
SIBS 2025 is expected to further solidify Selangor’s role as a regional business hub, driving investments and fostering economic partnerships across ASEAN.
