Dior has named multitalented C-pop artist Xin Liu its new global ambassador. She joins other famous ambassadors like Blackpink’s Jisoo and BTS’s Jimin. Xin Liu made her first public appearance as Dior’s ambassador at the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week
According to Dior, Xin Liu has captivated the fashion world with her bold, trendsetting style, making her a natural fit for the brand’s legacy of elegance and innovation. Before being chosen as a global ambassador, Xin Liu attended the prestigious British Fashion Awards as an honored guest and graced the December 2024 cover of L’OFFICIEL China.
Her other fashion-related endeavors included gracing the covers of magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, and GQ. She was also an honored guest at the British Fashion Awards and held ambassadorships with brands like Crocs, Sisley, and New Era.
As an artist, Xin Liu rose to fame after winning the second season of the Chinese reality show “Youth With You 2”. Her album “Xanadu” then broke records, selling over 54 million copies worldwide and becoming the best-selling Chinese physical album, followed by a sold-out arena tour in 2023.
In addition to her records, Xin Liu made history as the first female captain on the Chinese dance competition show “Street Dance of China”. In 2024, she became the first female Chinese solo artist to perform at Coachella and is scheduled to perform at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival in Los Angeles on May 31.
