Notably, several shopping centers have unveiled several photogenic displays that made for memorable posts on social media. These displays feature intricate designs and memorable performances, making them some of the most Instagrammable spots for Hari Raya.
The Exchange TRX
The Exchange TRX celebrates Hari Raya 2025 with the “A Luminous Raya” theme, blending tradition with modern elegance. The mall features minaret-inspired structures, glowing lanterns, and an infinity mirror tunnel reflecting modern Islamic architecture. White flowers and twinkling butterflies enhance the festive setting.
The celebration also included cultural performances, including gamelan music, wayang kulit, and traditional dances like silat and kuda kepang, to showcase Malaysia’s heritage. Visitors can also enjoy luxury shopping and special Raya promotions until April 6, 2025.
Suria KLCC
Suria KLCC celebrates Hari Raya 2025 with its “A Luminous Raya” theme, featuring Moroccan-inspired decorations. The Centre Court is adorned with royal blue and gold elements, intricate Moorish arches, and glowing lanterns that highlight Islamic architecture.
A large illuminated arch at the Esplanade serves as a photo backdrop, while delicate white flowers and butterflies add a whimsical touch to the festive setup. The display blends tradition with modern aesthetics, creating an elegant and inviting atmosphere for visitors.
The celebration also includes cultural performances such as Arabic Oud guitar sessions, Moroccan-themed dances, and traditional Raya tunes. Visitors can participate in creative workshops like mosaic coaster-making and floral arrangements or enjoy exclusive shopping rewards like e-vouchers and limited-edition Raya packets.
1 Utama Shopping Centre celebrated Hari Raya 2025 with the theme “Astana Aidilfitri,” drawing inspiration from Uzbekistan’s Registan Square. From March 7 to April 6, the mall was transformed with Islamic architectural elements, including blue mosaics, towering minarets, and ornate domes.
The celebration featured a marketplace showcasing traditional Uzbek handicrafts and textiles, organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Uzbekistan. Visitors explored a two-tiered structure with panoramic views and participated in activities like craft-making and tasting traditional delicacies.
IOI City Mall
IOI City Mall celebrates Hari Raya with the theme “Lebaran Bersama,” featuring Islamic-inspired decorations and traditional Malaysian motifs. The display highlighted the Bunga Tanjung, Selangor’s official flower, symbolizing grace and unity.
Soft beige-and-gold floral arches, Batik Selangor patterns, and a gazebo served as key visual elements, with unique touches like succulents and a camel adding charm. Running until April 13, the celebration included cultural performances such as Dikir Rebana, Wayang Kulit, and Gamelan.
Sunway Pyramid
Sunway Pyramid embraced the spirit of Hari Raya 2025 with its delightful “EIDisi Manis” theme, inspired by Malaysia’s love for traditional kuih-muih. The mall transformed into a vibrant confectionery wonderland, with decorations resembling sweet treats that evoked nostalgia and festivity.
Floral arches, themed photo spots, and playful elements combined tradition with modern design. Visitors could also enjoy classic games like Congkak and Batu Seremban, adding a nostalgic touch. Running until April 6, 2025, the event features a local bazaar with over 10 fashion brands and exclusive redemptions of Raya packets and tiffin carriers by Malaysian illustrator ThatDania.
Pavilion KL
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur celebrates Hari Raya 2025 with the “Budaya Raya” theme, showcasing Malaysia’s cultural heritage. The Centre Court features traditional crafts, batik, and songket displays, alongside gamelan performances that highlight national traditions.
The celebration also includes a visual display with twinkling stars and a giant crescent moon. A Swarovski crystal pop-up adds a touch of luxury, offering exclusive shopping rewards like Raya packets and Swarovski gifts.
Midvalley Megamall
Mid Valley Megamall celebrates Hari Raya 2025 with its “Kampung Ku” theme, recreating a traditional village atmosphere. Festive highlights include a nostalgic post office for sending postcards, a kedai runcit stocked with retro goods, and a kedai buku displaying classic comics and newspapers. The market square, lit with shimmering lights, offers a warm setting for shoppers and families.

Alamanda Shopping Centre celebrates Hari Raya 2025 with Moroccan-inspired decorations featuring royal blue and gold hues. The Centre Court is adorned with grand arches, intricate details, and a mirrored room with overhead floral arrangements, creating a stunning festive atmosphere.
These elegant designs provide a perfect backdrop for photos while capturing the spirit of Raya. Visitors can also enjoy weekend performances, including Zapin and Arabic dances, which add vibrancy to the celebrations.
Bangsar Shopping Center
Bangsar Shopping Centre celebrated Hari Raya 2025 with elegant decorations and festive shopping. The mall featured marble-like floors, floral awnings, and geometric-patterned pillars, creating a refined atmosphere. Soft yellow lanterns lit up the space while vendors sold rugs and metal crafts.
A festive market and illuminated walkways provided photo opportunities at the main concourse. Cultural performances, including gamelan and traditional dance, were added to the celebration.
LaLaport BBCC
LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre celebrates Hari Raya 2025 with a Wau-themed display honoring traditional Malay kites. The mall features intricate Wau designs, vibrant floral arrangements, and festive lights, creating a nostalgic yet lively atmosphere.
The Raya Berseri display showcases illuminated Wau Bulan kites and neon lanterns across the Centre Court, offering a stunning photo backdrop. Running until April 13, 2025, it provides a unique festive experience for visitors.
