My Nafco Precision Sdn Bhd, a global leader in aerospace fasteners and precision machining components, has unveiled its US$40 million advanced manufacturing facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
The 5.8-acre state-of-the-art facility features 3,500 sq m of advanced manufacturing space and the facility will serve as a catalyst for job creation, technology transfer and the development of Malaysia’s local aerospace ecosystem.
Present at the opening ceremony, Malaysian Investment Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Datuk Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid said the establishment of this facility represents a transformative moment for Malaysia’s aerospace industry.
“This investment aligns perfectly with our New Industrial Master Plan 2030 and the Malaysia Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030, positioning Malaysia as a premier destination for high-technology manufacturing,” he said.
Meanwhile, NAFCO Group President Alvin Lin said the launch signifies the beginning of a new era of smart manufacturing for NAFCO in Malaysia.
“This facility will serve as a foundation for our vision of sustainable and intelligent manufacturing, representing our commitment to fulfilling customer needs and our determination to contribute to the development of Malaysia’s aerospace technology ecosystem,” he said, adding that NAFCO is planning for a second facility spanning 19,000 sq m, scheduled for completion within two years.
