Ekovest Berhad announced today (May 5) that its subsidiary, Lebuhraya DUKE Fasa 2A Sdn Bhd (LDF2A), has secured government approval for the privatisation of the Istana Link, Kampung Baru Link, and Kapar Link Expressway.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company stated that the approval, received on May 5, 2025, covers the Laluan Istana – Kiara Expressway (LIKE) (formerly Istana Link) and the Kampung Baru Link Expressway (KBL).
The privatisation will be rolled out in phases. Phase 1 will focus on Project LIKE, with the concession agreement to be signed after clearance from the Jabatan Peguam Negara. Phase 2 involves Project KBL, where the Unit Kerjasama Awam Swasta (UKAS) will finalise concession terms with relevant parties by December 31, 2026.
Ekovest Berhad added that it is committed to providing updates to Bursa Malaysia on any significant progress in these projects.
