The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) has taken a significant step forward in its digital transformation journey by adopting CommercePay, a robust digital payment gateway developed by Commerce.Asia. The shift addresses growing challenges faced under MAICSA’s previous manual payment system, which, although functional, became increasingly inefficient as transaction volumes rose.

“Payments via traditional bank transfers often required time-consuming verification and reconciliation, particularly during peak periods, which led to delays and added significant administrative burden,” Justin explained.

“Members were also faced with limited payment methods, which sometimes impacted their experience. CommercePay allows us to deliver the seamless, modern experience our members expect in today’s digital landscape.”

Features such as real-time tracking, instant confirmations, automated reconciliation, and support for multiple payment methods — including FPX, credit/debit cards, and popular e-wallets — ensure secure, transparent, and frictionless transactions.
