The public is urged to register for MyDigital ID immediately to ensure uninterrupted access to two major government platforms once the Single Login method is fully enforced.
The platforms affected are MyJPJ, which provides services including checking eligibility for the Special Class B Transition Programme, Malaysian Driving Licence applications and renewals, motor vehicle licence renewals, demerit point checks, blacklist status, summons management, and e-Complaints; and MyBayar PDRM, which allows users to check and pay PDRM traffic summonses.
Currently, users can log in using either their existing passwords or MyDigital ID. Once Single Login is implemented, access will require MyDigital ID exclusively, except for foreign users of MyBayar PDRM who will continue using the existing login method.
Nik Hisham Nik Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of MyDigital ID, said the platform “promises a new era of digital identity verification that is simpler, safer, and more transparent,” while supporting the nation’s digital transformation.
MyDigital ID verifies identities through the National Registration Department (JPN) database without storing personal data, enhancing transaction security and providing a seamless experience. A new local biometric authentication feature allows users to log in via fingerprint or facial recognition, useful for those who frequently forget passwords. Activation requires updating the MyDigital ID application to the latest version.
To date, MyDigital ID has over 3 million users, with more than 45 government and private sector service platforms integrated into the system.
