TA’AKTANA, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia, will host a three-day wellness programme spanning September 19–21, 2025, as part of World Wellness Weekend. The global initiative promotes healthier lifestyles and aligns with the United Nations’ goal of ensuring good health and well-being for all.
Nestled in the breathtaking surroundings of Flores, TA’AKTANA invites guests to experience a sanctuary in paradise where timeless wellness traditions converge with nature’s beauty.
The programme opens on Friday, with sunrise Hatha Yoga in the resort’s open-air amphitheatre. Led by Gina Michelle Heeringa, the session focuses on breath, alignment and mindful movement.
On Friday (September 19), guests take part in an Herbal Spa Workshop at the Pendopo, learning to craft natural remedies from locally sourced herbs. Each participant creates a botanical keepsake while exploring Flores’ traditional plant-based practices.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday, with an Herbal Mixology session by the pool at Angkringan. Led by the resort’s bartender, guests will learn to prepare wellness drinks using local herbs, spices, and botanicals. The session highlights simple techniques and mindful preparation, ending with a shared toast at sunset.
World Wellness Weekend at TA’AKTANA provides more than relaxation. Across three days, the programme offers opportunities for self-discovery, cultural connection, and renewal, set against the backdrop of Labuan Bajo’s natural beauty.
