KPJ Healthcare Bhd has partnered with Philips and LAC Medical Supplies to implement an Enterprise Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) across its 30 hospitals nationwide. The project announced at Menara KPJ is part of KPJ’s digital transformation under the KPJ Health System, with full implementation expected within 24 months.
The PACS solution will link all KPJ hospitals on a single secure platform, enabling real-time collaboration among clinicians and integration with the KPJ Care patient application. Patients will be able to access their medical imaging results conveniently and securely.
The initiative adopts an outcome-driven model, focusing on measurable clinical and operational results while accelerating the adoption of advanced healthcare solutions across the network. The system also features AI-driven visualisation tools and multi-site capabilities to enhance diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows and maintain patient confidentiality.
KPJ said the project strengthens its move towards a connected and patient-centred model of care, improving efficiency, supporting clinical collaboration and enhancing the overall patient experience.
