Maybank has announced a change in the composition of its Board Sustainability Committee, with the appointment of Chiam Sou Hong as a member effective today.
Following the change, the BSC now comprises:
- Encik Shariffuddin Bin Khalid (Chairman) – Independent Non-Executive Director (INED)
- Dato’ Sri Khairussaleh Bin Ramli – Non-Independent Executive Director / President & Group CEO
- Miss Shirley Goh – INED
- Miss Chiam Sou Hong – INED
The group said the appointment underscores its commitment to strengthening its board oversight on sustainability matters, as the bank continues to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its business strategy.
