Amanah REIT Director Ahmad Feizal Resigns Following End Of Tenure As AmanahRaya GMD

AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust today announced the resignation of Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan, 51, from his position as Non-Independent and Non-Executive Director, effective 5 November 2025.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the trust manager said Ahmad Feizal stepped down following the conclusion of his tenure as Group Managing Director of Amanah Raya Berhad, the sponsor and major stakeholder of AmanahRaya REIT.

Appointed as Group Managing Director of Amanah Raya Berhad on 11 October 2022, Ahmad Feizal brought with him over 20 years of experience across four continents in corporate finance, capital markets, real estate, and business management.

Prior to joining Amanah Raya, he served as Chief Business Officer at Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC), where he was responsible for driving business growth and overseeing strategic communications. His career began in Dublin, Ireland, as an Auditor with BDO Simpson Xavier, before returning to Malaysia to join the Corporate Finance team at Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad. He later held senior roles at Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad as Head of Capital Markets, where he was involved in the bank’s recapitalisation exercise that saw Dubai Investment Group emerge as a major shareholder.

His international experience includes a leadership stint in Dubai’s property development sector and as Head of Wholesale Banking at Century Banking Corporation, Mauritius’s first Islamic bank.

Ahmad Feizal is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.
