Malaysia’s beloved animation studio, Les’ Copaque Production Sdn Bhd, is turning 20 and it’s celebrating in style with LC Xpo 2025, a four-day festival packed with creativity, culture and pure fun.
As part of the celebrations, the studio unveiled its most ambitious project yet: the Upin & Ipin Theme Park, coming soon to King’s Park Genting Highlands.
The announcement, made during a signing ceremony with Kings’ Park Management Sdn Bhd, promises a family-friendly playground where fans of all ages can step into the world of Upin & Ipin through immersive attractions inspired by Malaysia’s favourite animated twins.
Datuk Burhanuddin Md Radzi, Founder & Managing Director of Les’ Copaque, shared his excitement, “From a small dream in 2005 to becoming Malaysia’s most beloved animation studio, our journey has always been about passion and purpose. The Upin & Ipin Theme Park marks a bold new chapter, one that brings our stories to life and inspires future generations.”

LC Xpo 2025, held from 11–14 December at WTC Kuala Lumpur, offers fans a lively, hands-on experience of Les’ Copaque’s 20-year journey.
Highlights include free entry to Ipin Hall, interactive exhibitions, live podcast recordings, animation masterclasses and colouring contests for both kids and adults.
Each evening, Ipin Hall transforms into a concert venue, celebrating two decades of Les’ Copaque through music, performances and appearances from the creative minds behind Upin & Ipin.
