Dato Farhash Exits MMAG After Disposing All Shares At A Loss

Dato’ Seri Farhash Wafa Salvador has officially ceased to be a substantial shareholder in MMAG Holdings Berhad (MMAG), following a major disposal of his entire stake in the transportation and logistics group.

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia on January 5, 2026, Farhash disposed of 462 million ordinary shares—representing his entire 20% stake in the company—on December 31, 2025. The transaction was carried out via a direct business deal at a consideration of RM0.189 per share, valuing the exit at approximately RM87.32 million.

Farhash’s exit marks the end of a relatively short but highly publicized chapter for MMAG. He first emerged as the company’s largest shareholder in March 2025, acquiring the 20% stake at 40 sen per share through Velocity Capital Sdn Bhd. His entry was followed by his appointment as the Group’s Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman.

The disposal price of RM0.189 represents a significant haircut compared to Farhash’s initial entry price of RM0.40 in early 2025.
