SPS Guangzhou 2026: Driving Smart Manufacturing In The Greater Bay Area

Poised to be Asia’s biggest industrial digitisation event, Messe Frankfurt’s SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou 2026 will return to the China Import and Export Fair Complex from March 4–6, 2026.

Under the theme “Forging smarter production, shaping limitless possibilities,” the 2026 edition is set to occupy 40,000 sqm of floor space. The event is expected to draw over 500 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors, solidifying its position as the premier automation hub for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Leveraging over 30 years of the global SPS brand’s heritage, the Guangzhou exhibition serves as a critical bridge between international technology providers and China’s massive manufacturing clusters. This year’s roster features a powerhouse lineup of domestic and international specialists, including:

Sensing & Connectivity: AKUSENSE, Autonics, Binder, CONEC, and Odot.

Robotics & Motion: BRTR, Dingshi, Dunkermotoren, JSCC, and Linghang Robot.

Intelligence & Components: Mouser Electronics, Raythink, Shijie Intelligent, and Wachendorff.

Exhibitors are set to unveil advanced solutions tailored for the high-demand sectors of automotive, electronics, and new energy. Among the notable highlights visitors should not miss include the BRITER linear draw-wire displacement sensors. SFT 11/12 mini thermal switches. G320A series blade-type modules and T620A multi-channel control modules. Extraordinary Master series temperature controllers.

In a strategic move to link China’s two primary industrial powerhouses, the CCPIT Wuxi Committee will coordinate a delegation to connect the GBA with the Yangtze River Delta. Local support is equally robust, with the CCPIT Guangzhou Development District and the Foshan Machinery and Equipment Base organizing massive enterprise delegations to facilitate technology transfer and market access.

Highlights of the Fringe Programme

Beyond the exhibition floor, the event features an expanded fringe programme addressing the “brave new world” of industrial AI.

Inaugural GBA Industrial Embodied Intelligence Conference: Co-organized with the China Association for Mechatronics Technology and Application, this summit will explore the deployment of humanoid robots and industry-academia collaboration.

The “Embodied Intelligence Zone”: A dedicated area for equipment debuts and partnership signings.

Themed Forums: In-depth discussions on digital twins, industrial AI large models, cybersecurity, and sustainable smart manufacturing.

Distinguishing itself from traditional trade fairs, SPS Guangzhou 2026 will feature scenario-based application experiences. Attendees can interact with simulated environments—ranging from flexible manufacturing and predictive maintenance to smart logistics—transforming complex technical parameters into tangible, ready-to-implement solutions.
