Malaysia Airlines will expand its Kuala Lumpur–Doha route with a third daily non-stop service starting June 30, 2026, increasing weekly flights to 21.
The move reflects sustained demand for travel between Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, building on the airline’s existing twice-daily operations.
The additional frequency enhances Malaysia Airlines’ access to over 120 codeshare destinations through Kuala Lumpur and Doha.
Via Hamad International Airport, passengers from Asia and Australasia can connect more seamlessly to key cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas. Increased flights from Australia further support both eastbound and westbound travel.

The Summer 2026 schedule for the route is as follows:
- KUL – DOH: MH160 (9.00 pm), MH164 (2.05–2.50 am, Apr 13–June 13), MH168 (8.05 pm, from June 30).
- DOH – KUL: MH161 (1.50 am), MH165 (8.30–8.05 am, 13 April–June 13), MH169 (2.35 am, from July 1).
The new service strengthens Malaysia Airlines’ position as a key connector between Asia and the Middle East while providing travellers greater scheduling flexibility.
