Each year, Bali shuts down for Nyepi, otherwise known as the “Day of Silence”. For 24 hours, there are no flights, no traffic and no lights. It is a day of silence and reflection. However, if the idea of staying all day indoors doesn’t appeal, Labuan Bajo offers a way to experience the spirit of Nyepi while still exploring.
From 18 to 20 March 2026, AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach is offering Serene Nyepi in Labuan Bajo, a two-night escape that combines quiet moments with nature-led adventure. You can take time to reflect, then step out into some of Indonesia’s most stunning landscapes.
March is one of the best months to visit Komodo National Park, thanks to calm seas and clear waters.
The package includes a full-day island-hopping tour, with stops at Padar Island for panoramic views, snorkelling at Manta Point, relaxing on the pink sand beach, and spotting Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. It’s structured, but not rushed — allowing you to enjoy the highlights at your own pace.
Back at the resort, there’s more than just boat trips. In-house marine biologists lead talks on local ecosystems, and coral planting sessions give guests a hands-on way to support conservation. On the water, you can kayak, paddleboard, or snorkel, while on land, guided nature walks, light hikes, and private island picnics offer a slower-paced alternative.
Evenings are dedicated to a sunset cruise on AYANA Lako Sae, the resort’s three-deck semi-phinisi. Departing in the late afternoon, guests enjoy drinks and canapés, live acoustic music, and watch flying foxes take flight at dusk.
Dinner is an Indonesian buffet served on deck as the boat returns to shore. In March, the cruise is priced from IDR 1,750,000 per adult and IDR 1,350,000 per child, with slightly higher rates from April.
The resort also offers downtime that complements the active days. These options include ocean-facing spa treatments, open-air spaces for stretching or meditation, and quiet moments by the sea.
The Serene Nyepi package requires a minimum two-night stay from March 18 – 20, 2026, starting from IDR 12,384,000++ per room. It includes daily breakfast for two, the full-day island-hopping tour, dining and spa credits, complimentary non-motorised water activities for suite guests, and shared return airport transfers.
