Northern Solar 9M25 PAT Rises 12% To RM12.2 Million On Strong EPCC Execution

Northern Solar Holdings Bhd posted a 12.1% increase in profit after tax (PAT) to RM12.2 million for the first nine months of the financial year ended Dec 31, 2025 (9M26), underpinned by higher project delivery across its commercial, industrial and residential EPCC segments.

Revenue for the period rose 43.7% year-on-year (YoY) to RM92.3 million from RM64.2 million in 9M25.

As for the quarter under review, the group achieved RM36.1 million in revenue, up 50.1% YoY, with PAT climbing 19.5% to RM4.1 million, marking Northern Solar’s strongest quarterly performance since its ACE Market listing.

EPCC solar photovoltaic remained the primary revenue driver for the group, contributing RM90.3 million or 97.8% of total revenue, while recurring streams from electricity sales and operations & maintenance services grew 78.2% and more than doubled, respectively.

The group ended the period with a net cash position of RM34.6 million and a low gearing ratio of 0.1 times, positioning it to capitalise on structural tailwinds, including the National Energy Transition Roadmap, Large-Scale Solar programmes and the newly launched Solar ATAP programme, which is expected to boost demand for commercial and industrial rooftop installations in 2026.
