Aman-i-Khás starts 2026 with a fresh chapter on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, a protected wildlife reserve in Rajasthan, India. The resort now features 13 pavilions, including two new Grand Tented Pool Pavilions and one Tented Pool Pavilion, boosting its signature blend of comfort and seclusion.
The Grand Tented Pool Pavilions are 256 sqm and feel like luxury hotel suites under canvas canopies. Each features a temperature-controlled pool, open-air sundeck, spacious living and dining areas, and a spa-style bathroom.
Alfresco dinners and starlit evenings by the pool come naturally here. The 164 sqm Tented Pool Pavilion offers a similar level of comfort, complete with a private plunge pool in a serene setting.
Outdoor Adventure and Culture
Aman-i-Khás offers prime access to Ranthambore’s wildlife but also immerses guests in Rajasthan’s landscapes and heritage. The Surwal Lake Excursion, best in cooler months, reveals over 200 bird species.
These species include bar-headed geese, kingfishers, and pelicans. Guests depart pre-sunrise with a guide, pausing for chai and sweets by the water.
Ninety minutes from camp, the Fort & The River experience explores Khandar Fort’s ancient temples, stepwells, and palaces amid soaring plains. It continues with a Chambal River cruise spotting crocodiles, turtles, and rare birds, plus a chef-prepared lunch overlooking ravines.
Guests can also opt for a private two-hour Bayliner cruise with a naturalist, offering a deeper exploration of the river, the chance to spot river dolphins, and lunch served on the banks.
Horse safaris on the legendary Marwari horse provide an alternative way to traverse the region, retracing trails once favoured by Rajput royals.
As night falls, an astronomer-led cosmic safari beneath Rajasthan’s vast skies offers stargazing through an eight-inch Dobsonian telescope, revealing planets, nebulae, galaxies, and constellations.
Wilderness Wellness Rituals
Restoration features prominently alongside adventure, drawing on ancient Indian traditions. Ayurvedic massages with warm herbal poultices promote serenity, while aromatic baths use fresh herbs from the camp’s organic garden. An open-air gym under the forest canopy offers modern equipment attuned to nature’s rhythm.
New for 2026, a yoga platform over the camp’s pond provides a tranquil setting for morning practice or quiet reflection.
Pranayama sessions regulate breathing, meditation enhances focus, and private yoga classes combine breathwork with postures to improve flexibility and circulation. Guests may also opt for movement sessions in the privacy of their own pavilion.
Culinary Experiences
Dining at Aman-i-Khás is a journey in itself, highlighting Rajasthan’s flavours and culinary heritage. The new Machan Dining experience, set 20 feet above the forest floor, evokes the elevated platforms used during royal hunts, offering a private feast of traditional dishes cooked over an open wood fire.
Evening Forest Dining under the stars provides another unforgettable experience. Guests are welcomed by lantern light and guided through courses including naan, fragrant soups, and kebabs, accompanied by the sounds of the surrounding wilderness.
With its new pavilions and expanded programme of cultural, culinary, wellness, and nature-led adventures, Aman-i-Khás continues to offer an immersive and luxurious wilderness escape in 2026.
