The World’s Fastest Laundry Service Just Arrived In Malaysia

Laundryheap, billed as the world’s largest on-demand laundry company, has announced its launch into Kuala Lumpur as part of a wider international expansion drive.

Its entry into Malaysia is part of a broader push into four new international markets: Colombia, Mexico and Scotland. The expansion brings the company’s operations to 28 cities across 16 countries, including the US, Singapore, the Netherlands, the UK, the UAE and France.

With more launches planned for 2026, Laundryheap is positioning itself as the go-to provider for convenient laundry solutions in bustling urban centres.

To date, the company stated that it serves more than 400,000 customers worldwide and processes over 110 million items. Growth has been boosted through seven acquisitions in the past three years, including France’s Lavoir Moderne, Singapore-based Oppa Laundry, and UK rival Laundrapp in 2022.

These moves have cemented Laundryheap’s position as a leading player in a sector where demand for fast, convenient services has surged since the pandemic.

Laundryheap’s app and website make scheduling collection, washing or dry cleaning simple, with items returned within 24 hours.

Its Express Overnight service, available in London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, cuts turnaround to as little as eight hours, making it one of the fastest on-demand options globally.

The company also works with business clients, including bars, restaurants, hotels and Airbnb hosts, counting Emirates Skywards, CitizenM and Klarna among its partners.

CEO and founder Deyan Dimitrov said, “Our launches into Colombia, Mexico, Malaysia and Scotland mark another major milestone in Laundryheap’s journey to becoming the world’s most trusted name in on-demand laundry.

Expanding into these markets reflects both the strength of our technology platform and the growing demand for reliable, 24-hour turnaround services.”

Backed by £17m in funding from investors including Alex Chesterman, Nickleby Capital and Verb Ventures, Laundryheap has grown 700% since 2020. With further expansion planned across the US and GCC, the company is betting that demand for fast, app-based laundry services is only set to increase.
