This year, ProPak Asia 2026, the region’s premier exhibition for processing and packaging technology, is set to be bigger than ever. With Southeast Asia’s expanding role as a manufacturing hub, the exhibition enters a new phase as it relocates to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok and takes place on June 10 – 13, 2026.
Organised by Informa Markets, the event will bring together manufacturers, technology providers and decision-makers from across the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, personal care and consumer goods sectors on a single industry platform.
The move signals just how quickly the industry is changing. Companies across ASEAN and the wider Asia-Pacific are investing in automation, digital systems, plus more sustainable production.
Furthermore, rising costs, stricter regulations and demand for traceable, environmentally responsible packaging are pushing manufacturers to rethink their operation systems.
For businesses, the exhibition is an opportunity to see solutions up close. “In today’s environment, uncertainty is pushing industry to upgrade faster,” said Sanchai Noombunnam, Country General Manager for Thailand at Informa Markets.
He added that ProPak Asia connects companies with the technology and partners they need to improve efficiency and build more sustainable operations across production, packaging, warehousing and logistics.
During the exhibition, visitors can expect to see a highlight of next-generation technologies shaping the industry, including AI-driven automation, robotics, smart factory systems and IoT-enabled production monitoring.
ProPak Asia 2026 will also feature advances in processing equipment, cold chain systems and sustainable packaging materials, including recyclable and reusable formats, lightweight packaging designs and digital product identity solutions.
Given the expansion of the exhibition, there will be 65,000 square metres of coverage, representing a 20% expansion compared with previous editions. The additional capacity allows organisers to host larger machinery demonstrations and expanded “live working line” displays that show full production processes in operation.
An estimated 2,500 brands from 45 countries will exhibit. The show covers the entire processing and packaging chain, from processing and filling to labelling, inspection, end-of-line automation, warehousing and logistics.
There will also be 15 international pavilions from 14 countries and regions, including Australia, China, France, Italy, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Spain and the UK.
Organisers expect more than 80,000 trade visitors from across ASEAN, China, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Bangladesh and Europe. The strong international turnout reflects Southeast Asia’s growing role as one of the world’s fastest-expanding manufacturing hubs, as well as rising demand for advanced processing and packaging technologies.
The momentum is already clear from last year’s numbers. ProPak Asia 2025 welcomed 72,964 attendees from 76 countries and regions, alongside more than 2,000 exhibiting brands from 42 countries. The largest international visitor groups came from the Philippines, China, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, India, Vietnam, Myanmar and Indonesia.
Interest was strongest in packaging technology, which generated 58,297 enquiries. Processing technology followed with 54,782, while packaging and converting solutions recorded 35,958. Beverage and labelling technology, pharmaceuticals, logistics, testing equipment and cold chain systems also drew significant attention.
Further boosting the numbers of the last year were the large number of decision-makers in the audience. Aproximately 25.4% of visitors are business leaders, including owners, CEOs and general managers, with others working across sales and marketing, engineering, production management and purchasing.
Food manufacturing companies make up the largest share of attendees, accounting for half of the industry participation, followed by beverage producers, consumer goods manufacturers and pharmaceutical and personal care companies.
To help visitors navigate the show, the exhibition will have nine industry zones. These include ProcessingTechAsia, DrinkTechAsia, PharmaTechAsia, PackagingTechAsia, PackagingSolutionsAsia, Lab&TestAsia, Coding, Marking and LabellingAsia, Cold Chain Logistics, Warehousing and FactoryAsia, and the new DigitalizationAsia zone.
Now in its fourth decade, ProPak Asia has grown into one of the region’s key meeting points for processing and packaging industries. In a discussion regarding the exhibition, Informa Markets has indicated plans to expand further beyond Challenger Halls 1–3 in the years following 2026, with ambitions to position ProPak Asia as the premier processing and packaging event in the Asia-Pacific by 2027 and a world-class event by 2030.
