Cape EMS Berhad announced that its wholly owned United States-based subsidiary, iConn Inc., has entered into a Strategic Manufacturing Collaboration Agreement with Guardian South East Asia Pte. Ltd.
GSEA is a Singapore-based advanced manufacturing company backed by V.S. Industry Berhad (Bursa: VS, 6963), one of Southeast Asia’s leading electronics manufacturing services providers.
The agreement, effective today for an initial three-year term with the option for renewal upon mutual agreement, establishes GSEA as an approved strategic manufacturing partner within iConn’s global intelligent manufacturing network. Through this platform-based model, iConn integrates engineering, program management, and digital manufacturing orchestration across multiple geographies to deliver scalable production solutions for multinational OEM customers.
Under this framework, GSEA will support selected iConn programs involving precision CNC machining, mechanical component production, chemical etching, metal stamping, and plastic injection moulding—including medical-grade applications—together with sub-assembly manufacturing, design-for-manufacturability (DFM) advisory, and testing services.
