Motorists will enjoy a 50 per cent toll discount in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebrations, Datuk Fahmi Fadzil announced.
The discount will be effective from 12.01am on Wednesday, March 18 2026, until 11.59pm on Thursday, March 19 2026.
He said during the press conference, “This initiative is aimed at easing the travel burden for Malaysians heading home for Aidilfitri and ensuring a smoother festive journey.”
In another matter, he said that the suitability of implementing work-from-home (WFH) arrangements for non-critical public service roles is being carefully reviewed and will be presented for a decision at the National Economic Action Council (MTEN) meeting after Aidilfitri.
These announcements were made during the Government Spokesperson Press Conference led by Fahmi.
