Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) has announced that it will relocate its head office to Menara Merdeka 118, with the move set to take effect from May 6, 2026.
The banking group said the relocation from its longstanding headquarters at Menara Maybank marks a significant milestone in its corporate journey.
At the new location, Maybank will occupy 33 floors within the landmark tower, housing approximately 7,000 employees. The premises will feature a dedicated entrance to enhance accessibility and convenience for staff, customers and visitors.
The move will also involve several key subsidiaries, including Maybank Islamic Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, which will transition to the new headquarters on a staggered basis.
Maybank’s new registered address will be:
Level 70, Menara Merdeka 118, Presint Merdeka 118, 50118 Kuala Lumpur.
Despite the relocation, Maybank assured that its Kuala Lumpur Main Branch at Menara Maybank will remain fully operational, with no immediate impact on customers holding accounts at the branch.
The bank added that further updates will be provided in due course should there be any changes affecting customers.
