Maybank will officially relocate its head office from Menara Maybank in Jalan Tun Perak to Menara Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur on May 6, 2026.
In a post on X, the banking group said several subsidiaries will also move to the new headquarters, including Maybank Islamic Bhd and Maybank Investment Bank Bhd.
“We will officially relocate our head office from Menara Maybank in Jalan Tun Perak to Menara Merdeka 118 Kuala Lumpur on May 6, 2026,” it said.
“Also relocating to the new head office are certain subsidiaries including Maybank Islamic Bhd and Maybank Investment Bank Bhd.”
The move marks a significant shift for one of Malaysia’s largest financial groups as it consolidates key operations at the landmark skyscraper, which is currently the second tallest building in the world.
