AirAsia X Berhad has proposed to change its corporate name to AirAsia Group Berhad as part of its corporate rebranding plans.
The company said its board of directors is seeking shareholder approval for the proposed name change from “AirAsia X Berhad” to “AirAsia Group Berhad”.
The reservation of the proposed new name was approved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) on Feb 24, 2026.
The proposed change of name will be tabled for approval at the company’s forthcoming 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
AirAsia X said a circular containing details of the proposal will be issued to shareholders in due course.
