Steel Hawk Bhd has secured a three-year logistics management services contract from Petronas Gas Bhd, strengthening its foothold within the oil and gas (O&G) sector.
Awarded through its wholly owned subsidiary, Steel Hawk Engineering Sdn Bhd, the contract covers Package A – Northern Package and runs from April 10, 2026, to April 9, 2029.
Under the agreement, Steel Hawk will provide logistics support services on a call-out basis, including planning, scheduling, supervision, reporting, monitoring and advisory support across mobilisation, construction, inspection, replacements and broader logistics management.
While the contract does not carry a fixed value due to its call-out structure, the group said it is expected to contribute positively to earnings over its duration and enhance recurring income visibility.
The latest award adds to Steel Hawk’s growing portfolio within the Petronas ecosystem, following recent wins in underwater services, splash zone maintenance and panel contractor roles for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning works.
Executive Director Datuk Sharman Kristy Michael said the contract reflects the group’s expanding order book and operational track record in delivering reliable support services to the O&G industry.
He added that the scope complements Steel Hawk’s existing maintenance and engineering capabilities, allowing the group to play a more integrated role in clients’ operations.
With the new contract, Steel Hawk continues to broaden its service offerings while positioning itself for sustainable growth through long-term, service-based engagements.
