Gardens By The Bay Turns Disney-Themed For The School Holidays

Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay is turning into a Disney-themed family playground this June, rolling out two major experiences just in time for the school holidays. One is a ticketed indoor floral showcase, the other a free outdoor festival under the Supertrees — together creating a full-day itinerary for families looking for something easy, local and activity-packed.

At Floral Fantasy, Disney Garden of Wonder returns on June 8 and runs until March 14, 2027. This year’s edition expands to 23 topiary characters across six themed zones, blending Disney and Pixar favourites with detailed floral design and lighting.

New additions include Disney Princess displays featuring Rapunzel, Belle and Jasmine, along with Frozen’s Anna and Elsa placed in a winter-style landscape.

Elsewhere in the gardens, familiar characters are woven into the experience, from Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey to Toy Story figures and Winnie the Pooh and friends. The route is designed as a walk-through, ending with a Singapore-inspired display where Disney characters appear in local-style scenes alongside familiar hawker staples like laksa and teh tarik.

Outside, the focus shifts to Supertree Grove for the Children’s Festival 2026, which runs from May 30 to June 21 and is free to enter. This year marks 100 years of Winnie the Pooh, with the festival built around large-scale play zones themed on characters from the Hundred Acre Wood.

Instead of static displays, the festival is hands-on. Children can try a treehouse-style zipline called The Hundred Acre Glide, a honeycomb ball pit inspired by Pooh’s love of honey, and a series of obstacle and play zones based on characters like Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger.

A standout addition this year is “Pooh’s Grand Friendship Party”, a large inflatable parade making its Southeast Asian debut. Giant character inflatables up to seven metres tall will move through Supertree Grove on selected Saturdays, turning the space into a short, scheduled street-style performance with music and movement.

Between the ticketed indoor exhibition and the free outdoor festival, the two experiences provide families with the option to split their visit across different areas of the Gardens or spend a full day moving between both.
