Singapore-based halal hawker brand Fei Siong Group has officially brought its Chinese street food concept, Encik Tan, to Malaysia, opening their first outlet at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang Skypark. Known for offering halal-certified hawker dishes for the Muslim community, the new outlet is undergoing halal certification in coordination with the Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM).
Located at Lot G17, this marks their first Malaysian expansion after operating 21 outlets in Singapore and one in Jakarta, Indonesia. The restaurant operates daily from 6.30am to 10.30pm, catering to travellers, airport staff, and the surrounding Subang community.
Try their Chicken Cutlet Curry Rice (RM15), or their signature Fishball Noodles (RM13). Prawn Hokkien Mee (RM18), Claypot Chicken Rice (RM18) and Signature Noodles (RM20) are also available, with a halal twist.
If the Subang outlet is a success, they aim to expand to Kuala Lumpur and Johor.
