Traffic flow on all major highways heading towards the Klang Valley remained smooth as of this morning, according to the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM).
An LLM spokesperson said traffic conditions are expected to become heavier from noon until tonight as holidaymakers begin returning to the capital following the end of the school holidays and the extended public holiday period.
The spokesperson also advised motorists to exercise caution due to wet weather conditions reported in several areas, including the Klang Valley and southern regions.
Road users are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance to avoid being caught in expected traffic congestion later in the day.
