The Election Commission (EC) will hold a special meeting on June 12 to determine key dates for both the Negeri Sembilan and Johor state elections, following the dissolution of the respective state assemblies last week.
EC secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus said the meeting will be chaired by EC chairman Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun.
He said the commission will finalise critical electoral information, including the issuance of the writ of election, nomination day, polling day, electoral roll to be used and other logistical arrangements required to conduct the election.
Khairul Shahril added that a press conference will be held immediately after the special meeting to announce the outcomes and key election dates.
