MGCC Appoints Henkel Malaysia’s Teoh Tsu Shien As President

The Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the appointment of Henkel Malaysia President Teoh Tsu-Shien as its new President following the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting on 18 June.

Teoh brings more than three decades of industrial and regional leadership experience to the role. Since joining Henkel Malaysia in 1994, she has held a series of senior appointments spanning sales, key account management, business development and supply chain across the APAC region, before assuming the Presidency of Henkel Malaysia in mid-2018. She concurrently serves as Head of Key Account Management for Consumer Goods and Packaging for SEA within Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies business unit.

During the AGM, MGCC Executive Director Hannes Farlock thanked the outgoing President, Florian Herrmann, Chief Financial Officer of Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, who steered the Chamber over the past year, and welcomed Teoh into the role.

As the new President, Teoh will oversee MGCC’s activities, which represent the interests of more than 460 members by connecting German and Malaysian companies to promote foreign trade and investment.
