HCK Capital Group Berhad announced that Datuk Clifford Hii Toh Leong has ceased to be a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the company following the conclusion of its 27th Annual General Meeting.
The cessation took effect on 24 June 2026 after Datuk Clifford Hii expressed his intention not to seek re-election and remained in office until the conclusion of the AGM.
Following his departure from the Board, Datuk Clifford Hii has also ceased to be a member of the company’s Remuneration Committee.
Datuk Clifford Hii, 43, is the son of Tan Sri Hii Chii Kok @ Hii Chee Kok and the brother-in-law of Datuk Dr Dennis Ling Sie Hieng. The company confirmed that there were no conflicts of interest involving him and HCK Capital Group.
Prior to his cessation, Datuk Clifford Hii held a direct interest of 800,000 ordinary shares in the company.
