Bursa Malaysia closed lower on Thursday, weighed down by broad-based selling, with the benchmark FBM KLCI shedding 18.31 points, or 1.09%, to 1,663.82.
The broader market was mixed, with the FBM70 edging up 12.35 points, or 0.07%, to 17,899.61.
Meanwhile, the FBM Emas Index fell 94.51 points, or 0.76%, to 12,380.15, while the FBM Shariah Index declined 88.86 points, or 0.72%, to 12,287.68.
The FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia (F4GBM) Index also slipped 8.01 points, or 0.79%, to close at 1,003.30.
Zetrix AI Bhd was the most actively traded stock, rising 1.5 sen to 77 sen with 1.03 billion shares changing hands.
AirAsia X Bhd was the second most actively traded stock, falling seven sen to RM1.23 with 668.54 million shares transacted.
Among other active stocks being traded are Tanco Holdings Bhd, Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNEX) and VS Industry Bhd.
